Covered — Terms of Service

Welcome to Covered. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Moving Forward Designs LLC ("Covered," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Covered app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Covered.

1. Who can use Covered

You must be at least 13 years old to use Covered. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Covered only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or group leader. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

• You create an account by verifying a phone number. You're responsible for keeping access to that phone number and for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information and don't impersonate anyone else.
• One person, one account. Don't use the Service to create bots or fake accounts.

3. How Covered works

Covered lets you join or create closed prayer groups, share prayer requests (anonymously or under your first name), pray for others' requests, and receive notifications. Group admins can manage their group, including removing requests and removing or blocking members who break group trust.

4. Your content

• You own what you post. You keep your rights to the prayer requests and other content you share ("Your Content").
• You give us permission to run the Service. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and distribute Your Content only as needed to operate Covered — for example, showing your request to the members and audience you chose. We don't sell Your Content or use it for advertising.
• You're responsible for Your Content. Only share what you have the right to share, and remember that requests are visible to your group. Please be thoughtful about sensitive personal details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Covered to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or harm others.
• Post unlawful, hateful, obscene, or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonate others, spam, phish, or distribute malware.
• Violate anyone's privacy, including by revealing another person's identity without consent.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse‑engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use Covered for anything other than its intended purpose of communal prayer and encouragement.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Groups and moderation

Group admins can remove prayer requests and remove or block members within their group. We may also remove content or restrict accounts to keep the community safe and comply with the law. Blocking is tied to your account, so a blocked person cannot simply rejoin under the same phone number.

7. Not professional advice — and a note on emergencies

Covered is a space for prayer and encouragement. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental‑health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and no one on Covered is acting as your professional advisor.

8. Messages and notifications

By verifying your phone number, you consent to receive a one‑time verification text message. If you enable notifications, you consent to receive prayer‑related push notifications, which you can turn off in your device settings. Message and data rates may apply.

9. Termination

You may stop using Covered at any time and can request account deletion by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free. You use Covered at your own discretion and risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moving Forward Designs LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moving Forward Designs LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Covered after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law
